JUST A GLIMPSE...

It has become my habit to look around and appreciate sights and sound a step away. It brings out the contemplative side of my personhood that keeps on searching for anything that can catch attention. And in this world of constant change and countless angles, I could say life is a kaleidoscope of experiences of different people on almost everything that comes along the way.

I invite you to join me in my journal as I feature the colourful panorama of this modern life seen from different perspectives. Allow me to take you to see other sides… even the unexplored dimensions as I further search, dissect, scrutinize, and rediscover anything under the sun. This blog is a feast of the many fascinating things about life and what it has to offer.

Go through the pages and have a peek… enjoy the kaleidoscope, then let your mind speak!

PED MERCADO

traffic jam

Have you ever felt at some point in your life you are like stuck on the road you can not even move forward? It seems like a heavy traffic and you are driving at a snail’s pace. Time is running and patience is the only thing that keeps you from breaking loose.

In life, we encounter situations similar to a heavy traffic…

It is when there is a problem that we cannot solve and we feel that there are no available solutions around, not even help from others is within reach. It is like being caught in a traffic jam and there are no alternative routes to go.

It is when we feel bored, burnt out and exhausted with our work and we feel very stagnated and we have this thinking that we are not even growing at all both personally and professionally. It is like following a road with a long trail of cars moving from bumper to bumper, the pace is so slow and hours are wasted following the queue.

It is when we experience failures and we begin to be frustrated, irritated and much worse angry at ourselves and others. It is like experiencing the rush hours and we have a lot of agenda to attend to. As a result, we easily freak out with what is happening.

But you know what? The good thing about traffic jam is after some hours of waiting, there comes a smooth flow of traffic and in the end you will be right in front of your doorsteps. I hope we see life as just the same.

The one thing that can help us survive is patience that we will get through this and reach our destination or our goals in mind. Patience is truly a virtue.
