
Surviving in this contemporary world we live in, it is inevitable that from time to time we get exhausted and burnt out because of the many preoccupations we engage in, significant or trivial they may be. So, we find ways to heal our battered spirits and regain our lost energy. Personally speaking, times like these, I resort to a lot of things from sleeping, eating, traveling, writing, sketching, listening to music, watching a feel-good movie to almost anything that I feel like would help me get rid of the sense of being worn out. Some of these are helpful enough, but costly.
Lately, I have tried something that did not even cost a penny. What is that ‘miracle drug’? It is not even a miracle. It is just a simple habit of appreciating things around. Dwelling on the negativism won’t help, so there is no choice but to look at the bright side of life. Be Positive! I know it is a cliché but it works. I know there is an infinite list of things to complain about, but many of them are just a waste of energy. When we get to have a positive attitude and live life simply, then I guess there will be less burden in life, what do you think?
If there is a saying, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, well I have this saying:
An inspiring thought a day keeps negative energy away.
So, let’s all just be simple and positive no matter what. Let’s all live and look well to this day.
